Royal Visit marks 25 years at MK Snap

MK Snap were given the Royal seal of approval after His Royal Highness, the Duke of Kent visited the centre in Walnut Tree. The Dukes visit celebrated the 25 year history of our charity and recognised the support given by local community members, businesses and funders whose support allows us to deliver the quality of service that you see today

During his time at MK Snap The Duke was treated to a tour of our building where he met the staff and learners who showcased the amazing work that happens at MK Snap every day. This included the catering team who had produced a wonderful buffet for invited guests, the sports group who demonstrated boccia, the canvas artists and the work training table who showed how real work in a supportive setting helps the learners develop  skills for life.

The charity’s new chief executive, Angela Novell said: “It was a great honour to share the celebrations of achievement by the learners with His Royal Highness our friends and supporters.”

Chair of Trustees, Liz Gifford added: “This visit was a very valuable acknowledgement of the quality of the work of MK Snap and a great experience for learners and staff.”
