MK Chamber Charity of the Year
Chamber MK present cheque to MK Snap on completion of our Charity Year
On March 21st MK Snaps Katie James attended the MK Chamber event at Whittlebury Hall to collect a cheque on completion of our year as their chosen charity. AS CEO Maureen McColl explains “Over the course of the past year chamber membership has raised our profile beyond our expectations. We have operational support from chamber members, and have been included in the Red Thread fellowship programme as part of their charity engagement”.
As a small local charity we need to engage local support from businesses as well as raise money to support the work we do in what could be described as challenging times for the voluntary and charity sector
Chamber membership has also provided us with opportunities to up skill staff by attending training events and also it has been valuable CPD for senior management who have become more confident at meeting new people and also brought back ideas from talking to the business community.
We thank the welcoming and supportive Chamber staff for choosing us as their charity partner for the year and look forward to our continued membership in the upcoming years.
